The intent of this picture is for the color of the bright orange flames to catch your eye and give off a lot of energy. There is a great depth of field, the background is filled with dull white and grey colors so the fire in the foreground will truly stand out. Although the picture is not balanced the composition is perfect because there is nothing to split up the picture leaving very little positive and negative space. Dan Conley

This reminds me of spring in new england - burning brush melting snow - lonely woods.
