I would stand up against animal abuse .It is not right that people think it's a good thing to beat a animal or hurt that animal to obey their master or to hurt them. When I see animal cops or heros or a ads about abused animals I start to cry . I think it's right to stand up for animal abuse.

Since the Earthquke in Japan happend that shows that people are having a real hard time right now with eveything since eveything is gone. i think its a good thing to help people who are in troble right now because i belive on giving back and helping

I think that this video is very interesting and inspiring. It was one mans idea to do these things, and he had the determination to make it happen. He is slowly showing the world things we didn't realize, and changing it. He has made a huge impact, and we should continue what he has started.

My wish for the world, is for cleaner oceans. I think that the ocean is vital to the earth for many reasons and we are hurting it without even realizing it. Not only have the oil spills left the oceans in a horrible state, but we don't help at all by littering and dumping garbage into the ocean. We should all do our part in helping save the ocean and the wildlife that lives in it, and be aware of what we do.

To make people understand and get them to really grasp the seriousness of this situation, i would want to take pictures of pollution around or in the ocean. I would also want to find aniamls effected by the pollution in the ocean, and show their suffering through the photos. I think it would be very interesting to capture images under the water, showing dying coral reefs, and getting closer to animals in their natural habitat. I would want to be able to spend time at the ocean for some time to be able to get powerful pictures of how awful the pollution really is.

If I was to do a project on changing the world through photography, I would start with photographing third world countries. I would photograph pics of these countries, and the day in the life of someone that has to struggle with not having much, and open up my photographs to the world, to open the eyes of people and realize that people need help.

JR's presentation was great. i 'd like to see people are doing things for all humans' right. his idea put peoples' face on the building to show their mind is very powerful. My favorite on of his work is the people's eyes was printed on the trains and the face was on the side walk. When the train come in is shows different eyes and face together and that is so cool.
And the project... i care about people in China and if there are someone said bad things about China or Chinese people i ll stand up for them. so i might send pic about people's life in China so people can see they are having same life with some people don't like China or Chinese

My reaction to ted talk was impressed. I think that it take a lot of courage to travel around the world and take these pictures because some of the places he went were very dangerous. He took the risks to pursue his wishes. If I was to photograph something then I would photograph women who are all different sizes and shapes. With different hair color, eye color, etc. I would want to show the women in the world to appreciate themselves for who they were, and that they didn't have to be the materialistic stereotype that everyone has of women.

Jr’s TED Talk

JR had a great idea, an idea to turn the world inside out. He did this by having people’s consent to pose for him and to be pasted in cities throughout the world. All the people showed different emotions; happy, funny, sad and some showed no emotions at all. He has them on the rooftops of buildings, on trains and walls and even in the ruins of cities. In my mind, he reached his goal, and for that he got to talk on TED.
If I were to participate in his global art project I would follow the same guidelines. I like to reach-out to people and change their mood from sad to happy. I would have black and white portraits of happy people from 0-100 years old. Pay it forward is what I would try to do. By showing average people pictures of happy people and smiling people, it can change their mood, which would be what I was aiming for.

1. JR’s Ted talk was truly inspirational. Through his use of illegal acts made legal by his moral philosophy truly, his projects become more then just an art exhibit. They become something that allows for true story's to be told in a very creative way that also serve a purpose in some cases (covering roofs with vinyl as to waterproof them)
2. Deforestation is what I would Photograph for a long term project. Using long term time lapses.

I love the concept of creating art well, also helping people out with basic needs like shelter. I hope we could do such a project even if it's only a small one. I must say I didn't like how he talked with such long pauses. Other then the talking, I loved the presentation and hope we could do more things such as this.

I would stand up for NH. I love this state and the natural beauties that are strewn about it. I hope it will always keep its natural beauty. I would love to take pictures of NH mountains and forest to show the awe inspiring beauty

If I could change the world in any way I would give a clean supply of water to everybody in the world. A clean supply of water is necessary for nearly all forms of life. Making clean drinking water easily accessible to everyone would drastically improve the lifestyle of many, especially the lives of the people who we saw in JR's presentation who are from third world countries and may need to walk a great distance for their family's water.

To accomplish this goal I would use photography, or any art, in a showcase to draw in wealthy people for donations. The event could be held every year or month, depending on if the artists would be willing to bring new piece(s) to the presentation.
